Dr Les Lambert Hypnotherapist

What is hypnotherapy?

Hypnotherapy utilises the same one-pointed state of mind as when you are driving, reading, cooking or any number of ordinary day to day activities when you focus narrowly on one thing. Far from being an exceptional state of mind, trance is in fact very ordinary and is entered into several times daily.

Part of the method involves a state of deep relaxation – trance; the other aspect is the focus on solutions, which concentrates on positive thinking about the present rather than on causes rooted in the past.

Your subconscious knows what needs to be done, and the combination of trance and positive thinking gives us access to the subconscious mind so that brain can sort out its neurotransmitters and build healthy neural pathways. Hypnotherapy has been shown to be effective for anxiety, depression,OCD, anger, pain, weight control and a host of other conditions. Please contact me for further information and advice.
